Both games are decent. Fallout is more RPG-ish. There are lots of different weapons and armors with different stats, you can craft weapons and armors, there are dialogue choices you can make, there are lots of side quests, etc. Far Cry 5 is more of an action open world shooter. There are no dialogue choices, there is no crafting and no stats on One of Far Cry 5's biggest weaknesses was how Joseph Seed disappeared for much of the game, leaving the work to his siblings. Hopefully, that won't happen here. I am the reinforcements. FC4 never received 1X enhancement. So the original resolution of 1080P is maintained for FPS boost. Won’t look better than FC5 (4K), but you don’t sacrifice anything either. I loved it. Couldn’t play FC5 though. The resolution hit was bad. 6. [deleted] OP • 3 yr. ago. It's on sale at Steam. In comparison, Far Cry 5 is not really worth it apart from the the story tbh. Open Word: Definitely Wildlands. Bolivia has MUCH MORE variety than Montana. Of course Montana is beautiful but Wildlands is on a completely different level in terms of beauty, variety and fun factor. Far Cry 5 ran well for me on a GTX 980 with standard textures and 980Ti with HD textures (980Ti has 6 gigs of VRAM vs. the stock 980's 4 gigs). I can't give you exact FPS but I didn't notice any slowdowns. The game just ran damn well. I had no problems running either game with that GPU on either an old AMD 8350 or my newer Ryzen 7 2700X. The single player, however, is extremely enjoyable and has tons to do. Definitely more than Far Cry. I think the single player alone is probably enough to validate it over Far Cry in a story/events perspective, but if you really really enjoy FPS gunplay then Far Cry has the edge. It has some of the most satisfying gun play of any modern FPS. Far Cry 6 is more honest than Far Cry 5, as it is less subtle in saying what it has to say. Something similar happens with the original voice actors, who mix English with a Latin accent with Far cry 6 A small but noticeable gap Assassins creed Valhalla. Red Dead is a masterpiece. Far Cry 6 is good, but it continues the trend of being essentially an expansion pack to Far Cry 3 with a few tweaks. Assassins creed was the first game franchise I really got into, back when brotherhood came out, and imo Valhalla is the worst one yet. very high cpu temps in far cry 5 (7800x3d) Far Cry 5. so i'm having a weird issue with cpu temps in far cry 5. the instant i open the game and throughout playing - even in the 60 fps locked menu - i reach up to almost 89c (max 88.6), and the average temp is mid/high 80s. it's being cooled by a u12a, which is obviously very loud with these temps 5 by a mile. Far Cry 6 has numerous issues that caused me to drop it after a few days and never go back. First off, enemies respawn constantly. As in, you might be stealthy clearing out a relatively small outpost and the guards you killed less than a minute ago will just blip back into existence. iaT5.
